Frequently asked questions
How do I share my world clock board?
Use the 'Copy link' button at the bottom of the page. The URL encodes the cities and their order, so the person you share it with sees exactly the same board.
Does the clock account for daylight saving?
Yes. Each city uses its IANA timezone, which captures all current and historical DST rules. When DST changes for a region, that city's offset updates automatically.
Why is my city not in the list?
The picker shows around 400 IANA zones — the global standard. If a small city isn't listed, pick the nearest larger one in the same zone (e.g. for Geelong, choose Australia/Melbourne). They share the same time and DST rules.
Does the time update in real-time?
Yes. After the page loads, each clock ticks once per second using your device's clock as the reference.
